I'm fond of open communication and negotiation, so I come to you with a dilemma. In most classic Big Bang challenges the identities of the writers are withheld when the story summaries go up for artists to claim. This forces interested artists to choose based on their interest in the stories involved rather than their love for a particular author. Does this community wish for podficcer names to be withheld in our own podficcer-artist match-up post?

It has come to our attention that some podficcers have already selected the title of the story they will podfic and have gained permission from the author to podfic that story. Excellent, you overachievers! Sign-ups for podficcers will continue until January 15th, but in the meantime we will open up submission of titles.
Initially, we intended to require only persons desiring to partner with an artist submit a title, but in the interest of seeing where everyone is at, we ask that all podficcers endeavor to submit their choice by February 1st. If you will be late in submitting your title choice for any reason, just leave a note in reply to this entry or PM eosrose. We promise, we won’t disqualify you or anything. ♥
In a comment to this entry (which will be screened), please provide the following information about your choice of story:
Note for those of you intending to submit more than one podfic to the challenge:
At this point you should submit only the title of the story you most wish to see someone provide a cover or sound effects/music for. This will be considered your primary submission—the one you should complete before all others.
On February 20th we will open a post for you to provide details about additional podfics—you should submit details ONLY for podfics you have already completed (we want to avoid instances of people biting off more than they can chew). That post will be open to submissions until April 1st (though extensions might be possible—we'll see). You will be given the opportunity to put your additional podfics up for selection by interested artists—though we suggest offering them to your already-assigned artist first (though your artist will not be required to help with more than your primary podfic).

We're working really hard to make things go as smoothly as possible, but there are bound to be snags. If you have questions or concerns, please let us know.

Beta listeners/cheerleaders sign up in the comments. Podficcers are then welcome to comment on any of the sign-ups if they think their chosen story is compatible with the cheerleader/beta's preferred fandoms and the cheerleader/beta listener will get in touch with the podficcer through Private Messages. Podficcers should note the number of people the cheerleader/beta listener is willing to work with, and not comment if that number has been met in the comments.
