podficbigbangBeta listeners/cheerleaders sign up in the comments. Podficcers are then welcome to comment on any of the sign-ups if they think their chosen story is compatible with the cheerleader/beta's preferred fandoms and the cheerleader/beta listener will get in touch with the podficcer through Private Messages. Podficcers should note the number of people the cheerleader/beta listener is willing to work with, and not comment if that number has been met in the comments.
Rules for betas
Be respectful. If there is something in the story itself that you do not like, do not comment on it. Comments should be about the recording, not the text.
Podficcers who do not get a reply from their cheerleader/beta listener for longer than seven days (except in the case of a pre-planned vacations, in which case the cheerleader/beta listener should already have informed the podficcer of their departure and return dates) should inform one of the mods about it, and then attempt to find a new beta listener.
Beta listeners/Cheerleaders are allowed to refuse to work with a podficcer if they discover that they are uncomfortable (due to warnings that the cheerleader/beta listener are not willing to work with) with a part of the podficcer's chosen story
4. If the beta listeners finds that they are willing to work with more podficcers than they originally thought when they signed up, they are asked to create a new thread in the comments with all the information from their first sign-up, but with the number of podficcers changed.

Beta sign-ups are open from December 15th onward. Podficcers are welcome to choose a beta listener or cheerleader as soon as they have chosen a story to work with and have received the author's permission.

Anything else?: I have listened to A LOT of podfic, as that is my preferred method of reading in general. My personal reading is all DL'd to my iPhone, as well as all Kradam & Lambliff podfic in existence, so I'm very used to hearing any nuances that might exist in a recording.

Oh, hell, I'll beta pretty much anything, and I'm familiar with lots of fandoms, if not good enough for a canon writing beta. Ask to see if I know it.
Anything you have an aversion to listening to: The occasional aversion to het, so I'd like to skim the fic before committing to do a het fic. Severe squick on embarrassment fic/non-consensual humiliation. Everything else, in all manifestations, is fine.
How many podficcers are you willing to work with?: 2-3 for Tier 2, but possibly a few extra Tier 1s if you catch me at the right time. It really depends on how organised the podficcer is, because my last few weeks before the deadline are nuts.
Anything else?: I'm Australian, but living in the UK. I can do a Brit-pick for you if you need it, but my baseline pronunciation isn't necessarily British.

Anything you have an aversion to listening to (including ratings, warnings, and pairings that occur in one of your preferred fandoms that you would rather not work with): i don't like dark!fic and prefer to not deal with the things that go with that (explicit!torture, mind!fuck, non-con) and tend not to be interested in v. heavy kink fics
