Hi, folks! Today is October 10th, check-in #1! We are now one-fifth through our time together, and...well, the days are long, but the weeks are short!

Don’t worry if you haven’t accomplished anything; Mod Kitsune hasn’t, but there’s still time to do great things. Or even mediocre things. Remember, done is better than perfect!

There’s no extra art or beta sign-ups this check-in, so just reply here, on Twitter, or in the PodFiChat Discord, under the “Project and Fest Discussion” channel, so we can keep in touch. Reply pretty much anything. What your project is, how it’s going, what you did instead of podficcing, if we can help you in any way....

Hello! I have chosen to do "long distance" by Musical Luna and ooka. It's MCU SteveTony post CA:TWS. I have yet to start recording because I got sidetracked by an Among Us fic and a VLD fic. lol But I am planning on getting to it soon. 😅

I have not started recording, but I bought a new mic arm, a clicker, am investigating a new recording program, and have a fic picked out and permission secured. I will also now be adding these check ins to my calendar!

I asked for and recieved permission to podfic Midnight Summons by rentgirl2. I'm counting that as progress.

I've started recording JUDGEMENT FACES in chunks of one or two hours. Not sure how far I'll go, but it's definitely become my backburner project to procrastinate recording by not procrastinating on other stuff, which means that at some point I'll start procrastinating other stuff by recording this one instead.

So far I've pretty much just marked out 3-4 fics from my ao3 bookmarks in the 10k to 20k range as maybes, not actually asked permission or started recording yet. I'll probably begin actually working on stuff after podoween is over and I've recorded my ITPE gift, so mid to late november maybe?
