I haven't actually made progress on the cover's design, but I have familiarized myself with the text and have started listening to the podfic.

Presently, I'm debating with myself over whether I want to highlight the cruise ship part of the story or the sad/dark themes. Do I make the cover colorful? Or would black/white be more appropriate?

I suspect I'll be working things out with a lot of trial and error. I may be overthinking things a bit, lol.

I've read the text for my cover art, but I'm stuck with a lack of inspiration. I think I'll reread the fic to see if that jogs anything.

I haven't received any message from the podficcer yet :/ I was hoping to hear from them to figure out what they're looking for in their cover. I guess I'll shoot them a message in the next couple of days.
