Allow me to start...

I will probably post quite a few podfics this year just because I fell off the wagon of my "Fandom-A-Month" podficcing calendar and I'm using this challenge as an excuse.

• Star Wars: These Hands Hold Stars (100% recorded, 0% edited)
• Harry Potter: Theft of Assets, Destruction of Property (50% recorded, 0% edited)
• Supernatural: In Arcadia Ego (100% recorded, 100% edited) -- I may record the sequel as well.

The Changeling: 2/11 Chapters recorded. Though that looks WAAAAAAAAY better than it actually is. Word count wise I am 8,933/183,364 >_> the chapters are super uneven. I'm not worried though :)

You always impress me with your ability to take on the epics! What fandom are you tackling this year? An anime fandom?

The Changeling is a Harry Potter fic :) It is a retelling of the bookss from Slytherin!Ginny's POV. Cantarina and I are hoping to release simultaniously for this challange.

I have two fics I want to go for that are at complete opposite stages (I cannot multitask)

[Fullmetal Alchemist] a terrifying clamour of trumpets 100% recorded 100% edited

[Doctor Who] Practical Mythology 0% recorded 0% edited (I'm waiting on author permission for this one, but it's only 14 thousand words so i'm not worried about getting it done once I do get permission)

I'm not in Doctor Who fandom (Torchwood was more my jam), but I will cross my fingers that you get permission. :-)

I will for sure be recording Football RPF: Loose Ends as it's my current obsession.

That's the only project I have committed myself to, but I've been reading some Dragon Age 2 works I'd like to work on as well.

Originally I had hoped to record Love is All You Need to Destroy Your Enemies, which is a 200k WTNV/Dresden Files crossover, but I have a longfic WIP that I *really* need to finish before I commit to another longfic, so I'm bumping that til later.

You may also see other Football RPF as I encounter and try to process feelings.

I've recorded ~7k of Loose Ends, but I sort of don't like how one of the character voices is shaping up, so I may need to re-record. Which is fine.

Love is All You Need to Destroy Your Enemies sounds like the funniest thing ever, so I'm gonna hope that happens next year!

I totally know how you feel about finding the right voice. I may re-record the Harry Potter fic I'm working on because I cannot get Draco's voice right for the life of me.

Yes! Almost certainly next year. It's definitely happening sometime. That fic is SO MUCH.

I've got caught up in Pod Together for the last few weeks, but I do have a plan for 3 Critical Role fics this year:

1) We're on the Road to Nowhere (let's find out where it goes) 100% recorded, 70% edited. The 70% is because I want to offer it in multiple versions, which is going to be complicated to work out, but hopefully worth it.

2) Try again to get it right. 100% AND 0% recorded. Because I'm special, and did the whole thing in a couple of very long takes before checking just how DAMN echoey the space was. I don't require perfection, but I like to sound like I'm not talking into a bucket. So I have to do it over *sigh*

3) It starts with an earthquake. This is an outlier, in case I manage to get my Pod Together fics (yes, fics, it's a long story...) done in time, I'd love to record this one too!

Ambitious! Go you! I will be curious to see what you mean by multiple versions. I like surprises. :-)

Heh, that makes it sound more exciting than it is. 1) and 3) are multiple-chapter stories, where they tell a single plot but in several parts. I'd like to offer them singly as well as together, as I'm sure people will have preferences for that, and for with and without music.

Which is fine when it's 1 story. But this will be 6. So that'll be fun to compile!

Although now you've said it, I'm kind of intrigued by the idea of offering the same story *genuinely* in different styles. Like, one very 'straight' reading, and one with very flowery voices or something. That's something to tuck away for the future, I think!

Welcome! Recording long fics seem scary at first, but my advice is to break the story into smaller chunks. It's a lot easier to see a 16K story as ~five 3K stories instead of one giant one.

I plan on recording like a map of a place you've never been by bydaybreak. The story is awesome and I want to record it so bad, but I haven't been making the time.

Right now, my first priority is finding a job and it's beating me down only 2 months in. The process is DX and the last thing feel like doing is recording All The Angst. I'm not sure if I need to make a recording schedule or just find a cheerleader.

I've recorded one story in the Merlin fandom (pairing Merthur) that I meant to submit for last year's BB. I never finished editing it, even though I finished recording it. It's almost completely edited now and I figured that I owe it to the BB to post it for it.

I'm completely done recording and editing 'The White Tower' (still need to pick the music though!) and I admit I'm eyeing another Silm fic since that took such an unexpectedly short time.

I'm considering lady_ragnell's Years Since It's Been Clear. I just finished creating two really long podfics so I'm looking forward to starting with something small. So far I am at 0% recorded and 0% edited, but I think I'll be able to squeeze in a second fic after this one anyway.

BH@Dawn is 100% recorded 100% is through 1st edit. 2/9 parts are done done, the rest is in various states of edited & going thru beta.

I was up in the air for a while but my schedule is crazy crazy so I'm gunna just stick to this one and get it polished.

I signed up last year and then didn't finish, so let's hope this year goes better, right?

I'll be contributing the same story I TRIED to do last year. It's a BBC Merlin fic with mistaken identities and some obliviousness.

And I'm done editing, actually. I still need to compile the podbook and I want to do my own cover art for it because I already have a vision XD So that needs to happen. Other than that, it's done and I should be done in plenty of time for the posting in October.
