OMG YOU GUYS I AM SOO EXCITED FOR THIS PODFIC YOU HAVE NO IDEA!

I have started listening (yay!) and I noticed a consistent noise that overlaps the audio, which I can't really identify, but it's quite grating to the ears. (It's not the usual SHHH of background noise either).
Is there a way of tinkering with the audio that will get rid of the noise? :O I hear it through speakers and through my earphones as well.

;A; I really want to enjoy this podfic (which I am enjoying immensely) but for this noise. Halp?

If you have Audacity and the MP3 version of the podfic, you can try putting the podfic into Audacity and using the Noise Removal option... I did notice that the sound was less obvious (sounded more like normal background noise) if you turned down the volume, which, well, isn't really helpful but could be something to keep in mind.

Thanks for the tip, that actually worked pretty well(and took forever but worth it!)! Now I just need to re-export it all. :D (I also noticed a small editing oversight at around minute 11:00, just so you know.)

I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD SAY SOMETHING MORE CONSTRUCTIVE NOW THAT I'M DONE POINTING OUT OVERSIGHTS.

I really enjoy the pace of the reading and the different qualities of the Knights voices. They are distinct but not in a forced way, it feel really natural~ beccaleelee, you have a great voice for reading, and I remember really enjoying other podfics you have done before. :D KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB! \0/

Well, thank you! I do apologize for that obnoxious noise...it's actually my mic being stupid (I thought it had been fixed, but when I listened to the recording I realized, no, that techie lied to me!), so I'm glad you found a way to make it a little better.

I'm glad you liked the knight's voices. I was trying to figure out how to keep the voices straight for the listener's sake when there were so many characters, so I'm glad I got it right.

I gave it a listen and LOVED it. After a while I didn't even notice the background noise anymore. I think it actually clears up toward the end?

Anyway, thanks for recording this. It really is one of my favorites. I will listen to it often, I'm sure!

I think it's like people's accents; eventually, you just block the noise out :)

Hi i don't know if its just my computer of not but when i try to download your fic from both mp3 and mp4 it said that the site is unavailable so if its not working could you maybe try fixing it if its not to much trouble.
