That was terrific. You captured the tone of the story beautifully and I loved the incorporation of music. Merlin's magical call to Nimueh and the scene at the cemetery were especially well realized. Excellent job all the way across the board.

Thank you so much! The part with the phone call was really challenging but the opportunity to experiment with that was one of the reasons I wanted to try recording this fic in the first place. I'm really happy that it worked for you. :D

You guys, OMG. OMG, this is so great! Thank you for choosing my fic to make into this wonderful thing. Sophie, you are a talented reader and you GET the inflections, man, you do. I got shivers when Sam Cooke came in and oh my goodness, the audio collage of the sorcerers' network was AMAZING.

And the way you said "You can't just undo things" was fksljfkdljsfsd SO AWESOME, OMG THE EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS YES YES YES. The way you did that whole scene, actually, and the way you interpreted Merlin's anger and vulnerability. That was my favorite part of the podfic. Your Merlin made my heart ache.

I love this recording! I was actually in bed hugging my iPod to my chest toward the end (staring at the ceiling in an attempt to not fall asleep :-). It was wonderful to have an hour and a half to listen to the emotion you put into your words--something I've noticed you always do, but usually I don't get to appreciate it for so long :) The audio collage was amazing, and your reading really brought to life the words in my head.
