podficbigbangPosting is changing a bit this year. We have 1 major changes and 1 minor one.
Major Change: Moderated Posting
The posting period is once again October 14-31. Originally, we shifted the deadline so that we could spread the podfics as evenly as we could. However, we have decided that we will directly moderate and only release 2-3 posts per day. Think of it like your Tumblr queue. That being said, if you know you'll be done your podfic by October 14, we highly encourage you to post as soon as possible, so that we don't have everyone posting in the last 3 days.
Minor Change: Posting Template
This challenge no longer has a required posting template. \o/ We will still provide a template for people who would like one, but it is not required.
POSTING TO DREAMWIDTH - If you have a Dreamwidth account, then you can post directly to the community. Your podfic will go into the submission queue and we will notify you when it goes live. Below is an example of how to post for those who would like a template. Please add or remove categories as you see fit.
POSTING TO AO3 - Do you NOT have an Dreamwidth account or just want to make your main post on AO3?
Use THIS link post to the AO3 collection. We will extract the information you provide in order to make a post for you on Dreamwidth. Remember to CREDIT YOUR ARTIST in your AO3 post and edit the posted date of your podfic so it shows up on the first page of results!
If you have multiple podfics for Podfic Big Bang, please make separate posts for each podfic.
Once you have created your AO3 post OR created your DW post, Congratulations! You just completed Podfic Big Bang! We will notify you when your post goes live. :)
POSTING FOR ARTISTS - Posting depends on you. You can:
- coordinate to post together with your podficcer
OR
- post solo using one of the formats listed above.
We will work with you.
