RULE AND REQUIREMENTS

Podficcers

Your mission is to record at least 75,000 words in a single podfic/podfic anthology.
Individual podficcers may record one podfic or many to meet the minimum word requirement, so long as all podfics can be part of an anthology.
Multiple podficcers may collaborate to record one multivoice podfic to meet the minimum word requirement.
You may collaborate with other podficcers for the challenge, but we would appreciate it if all co-collaborators signed up here so we have everyone's contact information in case we need it.
You may choose to submit as many 75,000-word projects as you choose, for an added challenge. I know there are overachievers out there...
Check ins are Manditory. We want to make sure that you complete your project. Check-ins are all on Saturdays and we will nudge you if you if we haven’t heard from you by the following Monday. Please submit your contact info to THIS google form.
You must be approximately 50% complete by the art request deadline to qualify for official art match-ups.
Cover art is NOT MANDATORY. We organize match-ups through the community for people who are do not wish to make their own, but if you are not interested in or do not qualify for the official art match-ups, feel free to do what suits you best.
For this year, Epic Podfic Big Bang will have the same schedule as Podfic Big Bang.

Cover Artists

Your mission is to claim the podfic of your choice and create a minimum of one work of cover art.
You may claim one podfic the first week after art claims open.
You may claim as many additional podfics as you wish after the first week of art claims.

FAQ

1. If I have already signed up for Podfic Big Bang do I need to sign up again for EPBB?
Nope! But please let the mods know which (or both) you want to be signed up for, what fic(s) you’re thinking of podficcing, and your contact info.

2. May I post my EPBB podfic(s) early?
No, the first time any part of your podfic should be posted publicly should be during the EPBB's official posting period.

3. I started recording a podfic that would be great for this challenge; may I still finish it for this challenge?
Yes, provided you have not published any part of the podfic already. All podfics must see their first publication date during the EPBB official posting period.

4. I've already started posting the first few chapters of a long podfic to my journal; may I take them down and post the podfic for this challenge?
No, the first time any part of your podfic should be posted publicly should be during the EPBB's official posting period. (Please contact the mods if you are worried about this)

5. May I submit my EPBB podfic(s) to additional challenges/communities?
Possibly, the first time any part of your podfic should be posted publically is during EPBB’s posting period. If posting periods align, please ask the other mods if they are comfortable with it. If they are, we are.

6. What is an “Anthology”
If these podfics could be published in an anthology in print then they count. This can mean they are all in a single fandom or centered around a single theme. If you are not sure please approach the mods, we are more than happy to help.

7. May I podfic a fic that is a work in progress?
Any podfic that you post must be complete. If you're reasonably sure that the fic you wish to podfic will be finished in time for you to podfic and post it for this challenge, you're welcome to take that risk. If the fic is abandoned and you believe that the finished podfic will be a complete work then go for it.
