Artist's Notes: The image that immediately came to mind for me, over a year after reading this story, was that of dream!Arthur’s blue sneakers, which were left in a Japanese house with train tickets inside. Shortly thereafter, in the dream, Arthur and Eames end up in a lush sounding garden. So, that was the image I set out to recreate here. Relatedly, next time I want to take a picture for a podfic cover, someone remind me that I should actually FIND some sneakers that are the right color, rather than grabbing the purple ones I already have and going “oh, I can just photoshop that”. It’s a PAIN XD (All those blades of grass!)
